How to Delete an Asset in Dreem Studio

Deleting an asset is permanent, so this guide also covers what happens when you delete and what to check before you confirm.

Not every generation is a keeper. When a result does not match what you had in mind, you can delete it so your session shows only the assets you want to keep. This is useful when you are reviewing generations, cleaning up a session, or preparing a set of results to present or share.

Delete a single asset

Step 1: In Studio, open the session that contains the asset you want to remove.

Step 2: Hover over the asset on the canvas to reveal its toolbar, then click the more options icon (the three dots).

Step 3: Select Delete from the menu.

Delete several assets at once

Step 1: In Studio, open the session that contains the asset you want to remove.

Step 2: Select each asset you want to remove. A checkmark appears on each selected asset.

Step 3: Right-click any of the selected assets and choose Delete.

Confirm the deletion

For either method, a confirmation window appears to let you know how many assets will be permanently deleted and that the action cannot be undone. Click Delete to remove them, or Cancel to keep them.

Once you confirm, the assets are removed and a short confirmation message appears.

What happens when you delete an asset

Deleting is permanent. A deleted asset cannot be recovered, so take a moment to review it before you confirm. If you might want the image later, download it first using the download icon on the asset toolbar.

The asset is removed everywhere it is saved. It disappears from the session canvas and from your saved assets in the Assets Hub. Your chat history stays in place as a record of the session, so you can still see that the generation happened.

Deleting does not refund credits. Credits are used at the time of generation, so removing a result does not return credits to your workspace.

If an asset has been saved to a product, deleting it also removes it from that product. If you still need the image on your product, save or download a copy before you delete.
