How to delete a Dreem workspace

You can delete a workspace when you no longer need it. Deleting a workspace starts a scheduled deletion process, giving you time to take any final actions before the workspace is permanently deleted.

💡Only the workspace owner can delete a workspace.

Before you delete a workspace

Before deleting a workspace, make sure you no longer need access to the content, assets, or work stored in it.

Workspace deletion is designed to give you a grace period before permanent deletion. During this time, workspace members can continue using the workspace normally, so your team has time to review, export, or move any work if needed.

How to delete a workspace

To delete a workspace:

  1. Go to your Profile Settings.

  2. Open General Settings

  3. Select the three-dot icon besides the title “Workspace Information”

  4. Select Delete Workspace

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion request.

After you confirm, the workspace enters a scheduled deletion period.

What happens after you request workspace deletion

When a workspace deletion request is submitted:

  • The workspace is marked for deletion.

  • The workspace remains accessible during the grace period.

  • Members can continue working in the workspace during this time.

  • A warning email is sent before the workspace is permanently deleted.

  • A confirmation email is sent after permanent deletion is completed.

If the workspace has an active subscription, the subscription cancellation process starts when the deletion request is made.

Can members still use the workspace after deletion is requested?

Yes. During the deletion period, members can continue using the workspace normally.

This gives the owner and members time to finish any work, move important content, or prepare before the workspace is permanently deleted.

When is the workspace permanently deleted?

The workspace is permanently deleted 30 days after the deletion request.

  • Dreem sends a warning email 9 days before permanent deletion, so the owner and members have advance notice.

  • Once the workspace is permanently deleted, a confirmation email is sent to affected users.

What happens to workspace members?

When a workspace is deleted, members are removed from that workspace as part of the deletion process.

What happens to the subscription?

If the workspace has an active subscription, Dreem starts the subscription cancellation process when the deletion request is made.

Any billing or refund handling follows Dreem’s billing policy.
