Style your look with Outfit Builder
The Outfit Builder helps you build a complete outfit before generating Virtual Model or Content Kit results. You can start with your main product, then add styling items later to see how the full look comes together on a mannequin before generating the final on-model image.
Use the Outfit Builder when you want to style a primary product with additional garments or accessories, such as pairing a top with pants, adding a jacket, including shoes, or creating a full ecommerce-ready outfit.
What the Outfit Builder is for
The Outfit Builder is a styling workspace where you can add secondary products to your main product and arrange them on a mannequin before generation.
Your main product is the item you want Dreem to focus on in the final result. This might be a top, dress, jacket, pants, skirt, bag, or another product you want to feature.
Your styling items are the additional products you use to complete the outfit. These can be uploaded later inside the Outfit Builder, after Dreem creates the generation setup from your main product.
The Outfit Builder is available for Virtual Model and Content Kit generations.
Add styling items
In your Virtual Model or Content Kit setup, go to the Styling tab. This is where the Outfit Builder is available.
From there, you can add secondary product images directly. These are the additional items you want to style with your main product.
You can upload up to 10 product images total, including your main product images and any styling item images.
For the main product, we recommend using clear images and adding front, back, and detail angles when available. Detail angles are especially helpful when the product includes important construction details, logos, prints, fabric texture, or patterns.
Automatic background removal
When you upload styling item images, Dreem automatically removes the background so the products are easier to place on the mannequin.
For best results, use product images where the item is clearly visible and not blocked, folded, heavily shadowed, or cropped.
Preview the outfit on the mannequin
After your product images are ready, you can drag and drop the items onto the mannequin.
This gives you a visual preview of how the selected products look together as an outfit before you generate the final image. Use the mannequin to review the overall combination and check whether the styling items make sense with your main product.
If the outfit feels too busy or the pieces do not work well together, adjust the selected styling items before generating.
Generate the final result
Once you are happy with the outfit selection, continue with the generation.
Dreem will use your selected model, pose, main product, and styling items to create the final Virtual Model or Content Kit result.
Tips for better outfit results
Keep the main product easy to identify. Styling items should support the featured product, not distract from it.
Use clear product images for both the main product and secondary styling items. Background removal works best when the product edges are easy to detect.
Avoid making the outfit too complex. A clean, realistic outfit is usually easier to control and better suited to e-commerce content.
Choose styling items that make sense together. Consider season, fit, layering, product category, and how the final image will be used.
If the generated result does not match the intended styling, try simplifying the outfit, replacing unclear product images, using fewer styling items, or choosing a pose that shows the outfit more clearly.
