Most generations are completed within the typical time range below. In some cases, especially during high system load, a small number of generations may take longer:
Product Shot: typically takes around 5 minutes (it can take longer during peak hours/seasons). Contact support if it is still processing after around 8 minutes.
Image-to-video: typically takes around 3 minutes (it can take longer during peak hours/seasons. Contact support if it is still processing after around 5 minutes.
Virtual Model: typically takes around 10 minutes (it can take longer during peak hours/seasons). Contact support if it is still processing after around 25 minutes.
High-quality settings (resolution)
Higher resolutions (e.g. 2K, 4K) take longer to process.
What you can do:
Use lower resolution (e.g. 1K) when testing
Switch to higher resolution only for final outputs
Complex generation type
Some generation types require more processing:
Content Kit → generates multiple assets at once
Virtual Model → includes styling, model rendering
Video → involves motion generation
What you can do:
Wait a few minutes for the system to generate the outputs
Contact our support agent if it's still processing beyond the typical time range
If you repeatedly see slow generations for the same input set, try simplifying your inputs (lower resolution, fewer assets, cleaner backgrounds) and run a quick test generation before starting a large batch.
System load (peak usage)
During busy periods, generation may take longer due to increased demand. In some cases, delays can also be caused by broader service disruptions, such as a major cloud provider outage (for example, Google).
What you can do:
Wait a few minutes, then try again
Avoid refreshing repeatedly (it won’t speed things up)
Third-party AI processing
Dreem uses advanced AI models to generate content, which rely on external systems and infrastructure.
This means:
Processing time can vary depending on AI model load
Occasionally, delays may come from systems outside Dreem’s direct control
What you can do:
Give the system a bit more time to complete
Retry if it seems unusually slow
Network or connection issues
Slow or unstable internet can delay loading or displaying results.
What you can do:
Check your internet connection
Try again after reconnecting
Large or complex input images
High-resolution or complex images may take longer to process.
What you can do:
Use clean, well-cropped product images with plain or natural background so the product stands out (keep it centered and in focus)
Avoid unnecessarily large files
Avoid visual noise: cluttered scenes, heavy patterns, strong reflections/glare, watermarks, and overly busy props (these can also reduce scan quality and lead to weaker outputs)
